We can practice with kindness and curious enquiry, and the body responds with softening, in the safety that it is no longer being ‘done to’ but rather listened to and responded to with care and love.

Gong and Sound Bath with Heidi Gerrard

Healing event with our Gong Therapist Heidi who is looking forward for taking you on the journey of healing and sounds.The Gong & Sound Bath is a very relaxing and meditative therapy session using the amazing sounds and vibrations of the gongs and crystal Bowls . You’ll arrive to a gorgeous studio space , help yourself to some herbal tea or water and have a moment to prepare yourself quietly. You’ll then find your spot in the studio to lie down using your mats, blankets and cushions to make yourself comfortable and cosy as possible. The sound and vibrations of the gongs playing access a certain level of the brain waves, which will take you into a deep meditation. IMPORTANT NOTE-- it is recommended to avoid this event is you have Epilepsy or Pace maker or anyone in their first trimester of pregnancy. Heidi is Internationally CMA certified Gong Practitioner registered with complementary medical association.

Ashtanga Yoga (Assisted Self Practice Mysore Style)

THIS CLASS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS . In this class student can build step by step confidence and understanding of the effect of breath, body and mind connection. Student can arrive any time in 2 hour time slot, depending on how far they are practicing in the sequence and perform the Ashtanga first or second series of postures at their own pace,verbally and physically corrected and supported by experienced teacher allowing correct alignment and progression of this physical and mental workout.

This slow and relaxing class is suitable for all levels. Restorative yoga aims to achieve balance between physical, mental and emotional state with the aid of comfortable props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks & belts and it’s a perfect complement to the more dynamic classes we teach at the Yoga Loft. Restorative Yoga helps to down-shift the physiology of the body where deep relaxation can occur. This class allows time and space to notice patterns of holding and release them through breath, awareness and presence. This style of practicing yoga is indispensable for nervous system awareness and balance. It also supports better sleep, helps manage stress levels and is ideal for those recovering from illness or injury.
